IKAWA Profiles

We've gathered/adapted/created these profiles to fit just about all our coffees, in an effort to give you a start point for your roasts and take out some of the guess work! 

Please note that the Ikawa roast profiles shared on this page are intended as general guidelines. Coffee roasting is a complex process, and optimal results will always require individual adjustment and careful observation. For our use case at Micro, these profiles aim to highlight certain characteristics to showcase the coffee, but your personal taste and desired flavour profile should always guide your final adjustments.

For all profiles, we suggest paying attention to First Crack (FC) and use the top button on the IKAWA to initiate the cooling phase manually, between 50-70 seconds after FC for a light roast profile.
